Ed ecco il video ufficiale di Applause, appena caricato sulla pagine YoUTube di Lady Gaga e trasmesso in anteprima su Good Morning America.

Troviamo la classifica atmosfera onorica e piena di simbolismi che tanto piacciono alla cantante, tra cigni neri con il suo viso, un cappello gigante dal quale esce la stessa Gaga e una scelta di colori che spazia dal bianco e nero (presente nella maggior parte del tempo) fino a scene e momenti colorati.

La cantante ha diversi ruoli, look, tra il capello lungo biondo e quello corto alla “Telephone”. Ambientazione cupa e a tratti malinconica per un concept ben curato ma che non esplode nella leggerezza tanto annunciata per il suo ritorno. Un pezzo dance per un video che ama, come sempre, colpire, stupire e incuriosire. Mai banale, sicuramente, ma forse troppo (o)scuro?
